Recall: Trango Vergo

Trango has voluntarily recalled all Trango Vergo belay devices in batch numbers 16159 and 16195 that were sold after 1 October 2016. The handles on some devices may have loosened, impairing the device’s assisted braking capacity and significantly increasing the risk of uncontrolled descent.

Wild Country Friends



Notice to Inspect: Wild Country Friends

Wild Country has issued a voluntary notice to inspect Friends 2, 3, & 4 manufactured in 2016 (purchased in 2016 or 2017). A manufacturing defect can cause the cam lobe assembly to slide down the stem cable when the trigger is activated. This is not critical to safety but affects control of cam assembly so that lobes may not be fully retracted.

Mylan provides update on Meridian Medical Technologies', a Pfizer Company, expanded voluntary worldwide recall of EpiPen® Auto-Injector. The recall involves an incorrectly functioning injection mechanism and includes additional lots of both EpiPen, EpiPen Junior, and the generic version of the device, also manufactured by Meridian Medical Technologies.

TUSA recalls diving computers due to drowning and injury hazards. The dive computer can malfunction and display an incorrect reading to the diver, posing a drowning and injury hazard due to decompression sickness.
