Ortovox S1 Transceiver Glitch

The Ortovox S1 Avalanche Transceiver may not function properly in fine search mode. A software update corrects this issue. According to Ortovox "Random S1 units of the latest production run may show an automatic flagging within the fine search boundaries due to undefined impulses."

Check your water bottles

BPA (Bisphenol A) is a chemical compound found in a number of plastics.  The effect of BPA on humans is still disputed by some but the majority of the scientific community seems to embrace BPA as a human health hazard and potential carcinogen.  BPA can leach from the plastic to the contents.
