SPOT 2 recall

 spot 2If your program carries the SPOT 2 in the field as an emergency locating devise check the ESN number.  If the ESN number on your SPOT 2 is between 0-8000000 and 0-8053925 (purchased since October 1, 2009), its been recalled and can be sent back to the manufacturer for replacement.  

This does not affect SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker (SPOT-1) nor is it an upgrade program to transition from SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker (SPOT-1) to the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger (SPOT-2).
