WRMC 2016 in SLC!
The Outdoor Safety Institute will be at this year's Wilderness Risk Management Conference (WRMC) in Salt Lake City, October 12-14, 2016. Once again OSI will have a booth in the exhibit hall, and several of our team members will be on hand to meet up with you throughout the conference.
Look for the Outdoor Safety Institute booth! Here we are at WRMC 2015:
We will be available to meet with you and answer questions throughout the conference. The exhibit hall is always such a friendly gathering place! Need more time to talk about your project? We're happy to schedule a mid-day or evening meeting.
The exhibit hall in full swing! This year look for the OSI booth next to the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA):
The WRMC brings in outstanding presentations invaluable to conscientious risk managers, often with thoughtful discussions. Program managers from around the world gather to listen and participate in the wealth of wisdom shared at this yearly event. Last year, David Johnson, M.D.'s "Medical Topics for Remote and Wilderness Medicine" was one of the many great presentations with a lively, full room.
Andrew Leider (OSI consultant) and Alex Kosseff (OSI's Founder) discussing "10 Steps to Better Risk Management":
The keynote speaker draws a crowd! Last year the Mary Gibson Scott, former superintendent of Grand Teton National Park, was the higlight speaker of the event and wrapped up the conference with The Value—and Cost—of Risk. This year Grant Statham, IFMGA mountain guide and avalanche risk specialist, will share expertise gained through his many years of experience.

We're looking forward to meeting up with fellow outdoor professionals and friends both new and old. WRMC draws in some of the brightest and most thoughtul individuals and programs in the outdoor community, and it is our great honor to be amongst this cutting-edge crowd once again. See you there!
