Successful OSI Launch Event
The Outdoor Safety Institute, up and running for about 18 months now, had a belated but successful "launch party" on January 20th, 2011. The event was held at OSI's offices in Bozeman's TechRanch. Over fifty attendees enjoyed thai food, beverages, door prizes & learned a bit about what OSI does. Thanks for coming to everyone who attended!
Here are a few photos of the event:

OSI is already reaching out the newest generation of outdoor enthusiasts.

The event doubled as a Montana release party for OSI Director Alex Kosseff's 2nd edition AMC Guide to Outdoor Leadership.

This shot is for all our Outward Bound friends: the rarely spotted David Kallenbach (last Director of the Montana OB program) makes a surprise appearance.
Thanks to Laura Rhodes & Jenny LePage for the photos and to Ellen Sagmyr, Drew Thate, Katey Plymesser, Ryan Welty, Jenny LePage (again) and Gary Bloomer for assistance with the party. An extra special thanks to Bozeman Massage Therapy and Eagle Ridge Ranch Beef [danielle@eagleridgeranchbeef.com] for door prizes! Again, thanks to everyone who attended and made this a fun event.
